index << >> Julian Bittiner was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, and graduated from Art Center College of Design in 1999 with degrees in Fine Art and Graphic Design. He worked as a designer and later Art Director at MetaDesign, San Francisco, before starting his own freelance design practice in 2004. Working primarily in print and time-based media his work is characterized by an interest in the greater context of art and design and its relationship to our social environment. His clients have included Apple, Wolff Olins, Ogilvy (BIG), the USC School of Fine Arts, and the Yale School of Art. He is currently pursuing an MFA in graphic design at the Yale School of Art in New Haven, Connecticut.
